Community-Integrated Management of Childhood Illness

This facilitator’s guide is intended to help plan for the training of community-based health-care providers to children outside the formal health system. It is designed to operationalize Element 2 of C-IMCI, which is specific for improving the technical abilities of community health workers in managing child health. It is divided into chapters consisting of clinical guidelines designed for the management of sick children aged 60 days to 5 years.
